Artificial regeneration by planting in winter

Abstract:

Práce porovnává výsadby prostokořenného sadebního materiálu v zimním období a v jarním období. Kromě vyhodnocení možnosti zimní výsadby byl také ověřován vliv aplikace hydroabsorbentu (Hydrogelu) na rostlinu. Lesní vegetační stupeň sledované plochy je bukový v nadmořské výšce 546 m n. m. Výsadba byla realizována v zimním období (17. 1.) 2019 dubem letním, bukem lesním a jedlí bělokorou, kontrolou byla výsadba stejných dřevin, na stejné ploše, v jarním období (dub letní, buk lesní - 22.3. a jedle bělokorá - 5.4.) 2019. Byly sledovány tyto parametry a znaky – délka nadzemní části, výškový přírůst, podíl a výška nasazení dvojáku, počet větví, tloušťka kořenového krčku, asimilační aparát, vitalita, poškození biotickými a abiotickými činiteli, celkové ztráty, doba rašení, teplota vzduchu, vlhkost a úhrn srážek. Bylo zjištěno, že u všech analyzovaných dřevin byla vhodnější jarní výsadba než výsadba zimní. Aplikace Hydrogelu se pozitivně projevila u dubu letního u zimní i jarní výsadby, u buku lesního je vhodnější jarní varianta bez Hydrogelu, u zimní výsadby byla shoda mezi variantami bez aplikace a s aplikací Hydrogelu. U jedle bělokoré bylo zjištěno, že u zimní výsadby a jarní výsadby jedle jsou výsledky s aplikací Hydrogelu shodné s výsledky bez aplikace Hydrogelu.

Abstract:

The work compares the planting of bare-rooted planting material in winter and spring. In addition to evaluating the possibility of winter planting, the effect of the application of hydroabsorbent (Hydrogel) on the plant was also verified. The forest vegetation degree of the monitored area is beech at an altitude of 546 m above sea level. The planting was carried out in winter (17.1.) 2019 by holm oak, european beech and silver fir, the control was planting the same tree species, on the same area, in spring, (holm oak, european beech 22.3 and silver fir 5.4) 2019. The following parameters and characteristics were monitored – length of the above-ground part, height increment, proportion and height of twin deployment, number of branches, root collar, assimilation apparatus, vitality, biotic and abiotic factors, total losses, sprouting time, temperature, humidity and rainfall. It was found that spring planting was better than winter planting for all analyzed species. The application of Hydrogel was positively reflected in the oak in the winter and spring planting, in the beech the spring variant without Hydrogel is more suitable, in the winter planting there was agreement between the variants without application and with the application of Hydrogel. For silver fir, it was found that in winter planting and spring fir planting, the results with the Hydrogel application were the same as those without the Hydrogel application.
