Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the detailed analysis of logistics systems in the company “Kola trade”, in order to find drawbacks of logistics operations and to propose solutions for their elimination. The work consists of two parts: a theoretical one and a practical one. The first part of the thesis describes theoretical knowledge obtained from scientific sources that will serve as a framework for processing the practical part. The second part is devoted to introduction of “Kola trade” company and detailed analysis of current logistics systems with defined drawbacks and problems of firm’s performance. Following the identification of drawbacks have been proposed solutions to improve the logistics system in order to reduce logistics costs.
