Web-based client application for solving natural language processing tasks

Abstract:

Cílem práce je webová klientská aplikace, která pomocí vizuálního programování umožní uživateli tvořit vlastní úlohy z oblasti zpracování přirozeného jazyka. Aplikace komunikuje se serverovou částí, která zajišťuje správu dat, výkon a správu daných úloh. Aplikace má uživateli zjednodušit tento proces tvorby a zároveň umožňuje tvorbu uživatelům bez znalostí programování. Záměr aplikace je výuka nových zájemců o oblast zpracování přirozeného jazyka. V plánu je ale i rozšíření a další vývoj. V budoucnosti je v plánu, že se aplikace stane součástí platformy pro podporu rozhodování na finančních trzích. Aplikace je cílená hlavně na zpracování českého jazyka a uživatelské rozhraní ji bude také podporovat. Pro ověření splnění cíle se aplikace podrobí uživatelskému testování, kde několik respondentů dá k aplikaci zpětnou vazbu a ohodnotí ji. K aplikaci se napíše dokumentace v podobě této práce.

Abstract:

The goal of this work is a web client application that allows the user to create their own natural language processing tasks using visual programming. The application communicates with the server side which provides data management, performance and administration of the given tasks. The application is intended to simplify this creation process for the user while allowing users without programming knowledge to create. The intent of the application is to teach newcomers to the field of natural language processing. However, there are plans for expansion and further development. In the future, the plan is for the app to become part of a decision support platform for financial markets. The application is mainly targeted at natural language processing and the user interface will also support it. In order to verify that the objective is met, the application will undergo user testing where several respondents will give feedback and rate the application. The documentation for the application will be written in the form of this thesis.
