Importance of the Lisbon Treaty in the integration process

Abstract:

This Bachelor Thesis deals with importance of the Lisbon Treaty in the integration process. The main goal of this thesis is to examine fundamental changes incorporated in the Treaty of Lisbon, which essentially determine the integration process. First chapter focuses on the basic characteristics and evolution of the Lisbon Treaty. The second chapter analyses the changes in relation to the integration that resulted from the Lisbon Treaty. Third chapter highlights the changes in the Treaty of Lisbon related to integration and this chapter also includes the evaluation of factors affecting integration in the future and evaluation of candidate countries.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá významom Lisabonskej zmluvy v integračnom procese. Hlavným cieľom práce je skúmať základné zmeny zakomponované v Lisabonskej zmluve, ktoré zásadným spôsobom determinujú integračný proces. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na historický vývoj a charakteristiku Lisabonskej zmluvy. Druhá kapitola analyzuje zmeny vo vzťahu k integrácii ku ktorým došlo vplyvom Lisabonskej zmluvy. Tretia kapitola poukazuje na zmeny Lisabonskej zmluvy súvisiace s integráciou a zároveň obsahuje táto kapitola aj zhodnotenie faktorov vplývajúcich na integráciu a hodnotenie jednotlivých kandidátskych krajín.
