Economic and Cultural Aspects of Integration of Foreigners: The Cases of Ukrainian and Vietnamese Citizens

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá integrací Vietnamců a Ukrajinců na trhu práce, a dále pak jejich integraci do české společnosti. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo zjistit jaký počet Vietnamců a Ukrajinců se uplatňuje na pracovním trhu a jaké jsou kulturní rozdíly mezi těmito skupinami s českou kulturou. Bakalářská práce je pouze teoretická a je rozdělena do několika kapitol. Úvodní část se zabývá migrací do české republiky, pracovní migrací, nelegálním zaměstnáváním nebo také integrací obecně. V dalších částech pak Ukrajinskou a Vietnamskou integrací. V těchto kapitolách jsou popsány migrační trendy Ukrajinců a Vietnamců do České republiky, tradiční kulturní hodnoty, které jsou pak v závěru porovnávány s českými kulturními hodnotami.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis deals with the integration of Vietnamese and Ukrainians into labour market and then the integration into Czech society. The aim of the Bachelor thesis was to find out how many of the Vietnamese and the Ukrainians is applied in the labour market and what are the cultural differences between these groups and the Czech culture. The Bachelor thesis is only theoretical and is divided into several chapters. The introductory part deals with the migration to the Czech Republic, the labor migration, the illegal employment, or the integration in general. In the other parts, the Ukrainian and Vietnamese integration. These chapters describe the migration trends of the Ukrainians and the Vietnamese to the Czech Republic, the traditional cultural values, which are then compared with the Czech cultural values.
