Zero waste activities in the city of Brno

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zero waste aktivitami na území města Brna. Cílem této práce je představení konkrétních zero waste činností a základních pojmů spojených se zásadami a principy zero waste. V rámci teoretické části je provedena literární rešerše vysvětlující koncept zero waste a s ním spojené další základní pojmy ohledně odpadového hospodářství a obalů. Část aplikační je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část tvoří analýza bezobalových obchodů a zero waste projektů, workshopů a festivalů konaných na území města Brna. Druhá je složena z rozhovorů s majiteli tří brněnských bezobalových prodejen a jejich následným vyhodnocením. Z výsledků vyplývá, že zájem o zero waste aktivity na území města Brna roste a stále se otevírají nové bezobalové obchody. Také se vytváří projekty a mobilní aplikace zahrnující problematiku zero waste. Od roku 2017 bylo otevřeno na území města Brna sedm bezobalových prodejen. Zero waste tématika se dostává více do povědomí široké veřejnosti.

Abstract:

Bachelor's thesis with no zero waste activity in the city of Brno. The aim of this work is to introduce specific zero waste and the basic concepts of the view with the principles of zero waste. Within the theoretical parts, the literature limiting explanatory concept of zero waste and other basic concepts related to waste management and packaging are communicated. Partial application is intended for doubles. The first part consists of an analysis of non-packaging shops and projects with zero waste, workshops and festivals in the city of Brno. The second consists of interviews with the owners of three Brno unwrapped sales and their subsequent evaluation. From the search results, which are interested in zero waste in the city of Brno, new packaging is still growing and is still opening. Zero waste. Since 2017, seven unwrapped stores have been opened in the city of Brno. Zero waste of topics more than the awareness of the general public.
