Teoretická část je zaměřená na všeobecné informace, které se týkají seniorů a seniorského života. Vystihují i jednotlivé změny, ke kterým dochází a které doprovází tuto etapu života. Praktická část obsahuje výsledky dotazníkového šetření, které bylo prováděno od července 2012 do ledna 2013. Distribuce dotazníků probíhala v Boskovicích a jeho blízkém okolí. V dotazníku jsem seniorům pokládala otázky, které byly zaměřeny právě na oblast počítačů a internetu. V statistickém šetření potom bylo potvrzeno, že skutečně věk i vzdělání seniorů ovlivňuje to, zda ve svém životě využívají počítač a internet. V závěru této diplomové práce je i návrh řešení zjištěných nedostatků.

Its theoretical part concentrates on the general information related to seniors themselves and their life. It also depicts particular changes typical of this life stage. The practical part presents the results of the questionnaire survey hold between July 2012 and January 2013. The questionnaires were distributed in Boskovice and its surroundings. Seniors were asked questions from the sphere of computers, the Interner and the internet courses. The statistical survey subsequently proved that the age as well as the education of seniors is influenced by their active use of the computer and the Internet. Final part of the work offers possible solutions of discovered imperfections.
