Development of production, export and import of electricity in the CZ

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou vývoje produkce, vývozu a dovozu elektrické energie v České republice v letech 2010 až 2023. Práce popisuje složení energetického mixu země a jeho adaptaci na směrnice dané Evropskou unií. Výzkum na základě ekonometrických metod odhalil, že Česká republika má kladnou energetickou bilanci. Produkce ovšem v posledních letech klesá. Přestože je zatím Česko energeticky suverénní, mohl by mít postupný pokles produkce významný dopad na energetickou bezpečnost státu i jeho ekonomickou situaci.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the development of production, export and import of electricity in the Czech Republic between 2010 and 2023. The thesis describes the composition of the country's energy mix and its adaptation to the regulations of the European Union. The research based on econometric methods reveals that the Czech Republic has a positive energy balance. However, production has been declining in the recent years. Therefore, although the Czech Republic is still energy sovereign, a gradual decline in production could have a significant impact on the country's energy security and economic situation.
