Trade in goods between Portugal and Spain

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je představení vzájemného zbožového obchodu mezi Portugalskem a Španělskem a vyhledání perspektivních oborů pro portugalské a španělské exportéry ve vzájemném obchodě se zbožím. První kapitola charakterizuje historický vývoj obou zemí z ekonomického hlediska od 20. století po současnost. Druhá kapitola popisuje ekonomickou situaci od roku 2008 pomocí základních makroekonomických ukazatelů. Třetí kapitola se zabývá postavením obou zemí v mezinárodním obchodě se zbožím z hlediska teritoriální a komoditní struktury. Čtvrtá kapitola se věnuje vzájemné zbožové výměně a perspektivním oborům pro export. Dílčími cíli této kapitoly je také stručné přiblížení obchodní kultury a jazykových odlišností obou zemí. Dále se kapitola krátce zabývá bilaterálními vztahy mezi oběma zeměmi, dopravou zboží a podporou exportu.

Abstract:

The main aim of the thesis is to describe trade in goods between Portugal and Spain and to find business opportunities for Portuguese exporters in Spain and for Spanish exporters in Portugal. The first chapter characterizes the historical development of both countries from the 20th century to the present. The second chapter is concerned with the economic situation since 2008 using basic macroeconomic indicators. The third chapter deals with the position of both countries in international trade in goods and describes the territorial and commodity structure. The fourth chapter is devoted to the introduction of trade in goods between Portugal and Spain and business opportunities for both countries. This chapter also includes brief introduction of business culture and language differences, transport of goods, support of export and bilateral relations between these two countries.
