The Impact of Socioeconomic Status of a Family on a Pupil's Classroom Status

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vliv socioekonomického statusu rodin na postavení žáků v třídním kolektivu. V první kapitole teoretické části je vymezen socioekonomický status, dále jsou popsány proměnné k zjištění socioekonomického statusu, sociální status a stratifikace. Ve druhé části je definována rodina, její typy, funkce, charakteristické znaky současné rodiny a v neposlední řadě rodinné prostředí. Poslední kapitola teoretické části se soustředí na školní třídu, typy třídních kolektivů, vztahy v kolektivu a mimo jiné také sociometrické pozice žáků v třídním kolektivu. Cílem praktické části bylo zjistit a popsat souvislosti mezi socioekonomickým statusem rodin a postavením žáků v třídním kolektivu. Pro naplnění výzkumných cílů byl použit kvantitativní přístup.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the impact of the socio-economic status of families on the status of pupils in the class collective. The first chapter of the theoretical part defines socio- economic status, then describes the variables to determine socio-economic status, social status and stratification. The second part defines the family, its types, functions, characteristics of the current family and, last but not least, the family environment. The last chapter of the theoretical part concentrates on the school classroom, types of class collectives, relationships within the collective and, among other things, the sociometric positions of pupils in the class collective. The aim of the practical part was to identify and describe the connection (context) between the socio-economic status of families and the status of pupils in the class collective. A quantitative approach has been used to meet the research objectives.
