Occupational education as a therapy for pupils with mental disabilities

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na pracovní výchovu u dětí s mentálním postižením. Teoretická část zahrnuje definici, klasifikaci a etiologii mentální retardace, také možnosti vzdělávání osob s mentální retardací. Pozornost je věnovaná také pracovní výchově z hlediska vyučovacího předmětu i jako terapii. Jsou zde vymezeny cíle a také historie pracovní výchovy. Cílem praktické části práce je určit, zda jsou děti schopny zlepšit své funkce za pomocí vybraných pracovních úkolu v časovém rozmezí tří měsíců. Šetření bylo provedeno pozorováním. V závěru jsou uvedeny výsledky šetření.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is aimed at occupational education of children with learning difficulties. The theoretical part includes definition, classification and etiology of the mental disorders, as well as educational possibilies of people suffering from the mental disorders. The attention is also paid to occupational education from the point of view of the taught subject and also of the therapy, further the objectives and the history of the occupational education are introduced. The objective of the practical part is to determine whether the children are able to improve their skills with regard to given occupational activities within the period of three months. The research was carried out by observation. The results of the research are presented in the conclusion.
