Ekonomický dopad inteligentních dopravních systémů v Saúdské Arábii

Abstract:

Tato studie se zaměřuje na ekonomický vliv ITS (Inteligentní dopravní systémy) v Saúdské Arábii. Opírá se o výzkum prostřednictvím analýzy dat a srovnání s nejlepšími mezinárodními postupy. Soustředí se na současný stav nasazení TDM v zemi, který je omezen na správu městské dopravy a logistiku pro zvládání pout-níků během Hadže. Studie, která porovnává místní standardy se světovými benchmarky, zkoumá náklady na výstavbu infrastruktury, nákup technologie a průběžnou údržbu v průběhu pěti let od roku 2025 do 2029. Zjištění ukazují, že systém může být hnacím motorem ekonomického rozvoje; například zvyšuje produktivitu, což vede k vyšším mírám růstu HDP a tedy i k vytváření pracovních příležitostí spolu se snížením úrovní spotřeby paliva a provozních nákladů; zlepšu-je standard logistiky, čímž podporuje konkurenceschopnost na globálním trhu. Navíc jsou tyto systémy specifikovány ve Vizi 2030 Saúdské Arábie, která zvažuje jejich cíl diverzifikace ekonomiky, udržitelnosti a ochrany životního prostředí. Další sociální aspekty ITS, jako lepší bezpečnostní záznamy na silnicích a vyšší životní standard mezi lidmi, jsou také prospěšné. Země však přijala strategii Vize 2030, která si představuje ITS jako jeden z komponent budoucích dopravních infra-struktur. Tyto zjištění ukazují potřebu pečlivého plánování v ITS, aby těchto výhod dosáhli nejen provozovatelé, ale i široká veřejnost.

This study focuses on the economic influence of ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) in Saudi Arabia. It resorts to research through data analysis and ben-chmarking with best practices of international standards. It concentrates on the present status of TDM deployment within the state, which is confined to city traffic management and the logistics for handling Hajj travelers. Employing data analysis that compares local standards with global benchmarks, the study exami-nes costs for building infrastructure, buying technology, and ongoing maintenan-ce over five years from 2025 to 2029. The finding is that there are many ways in which the system can be a propeller to economic development; for example, it increases productivity, thus leading to more GDP growth rates and, hence, job creation opportunities along with a reduction in fuel consumption levels and ope-rational costs; it improves the standard of logistics thereby promoting competiti-veness in the global mar-ket. In addition, these systems are specified in the Saudi Vision 2030, which considers their goal of diversification of the economy, susta-inability, and environmental protection. Other social aspects of the ITS, like better safety records on the road and higher living standards among people, are also beneficial. The country, however, has adopted the Vision 2030 strategy, which imagines the ITS as one of the components of the transportation infrastructures of the future. These findings show the need for careful planning in the ITS so that those benefits are witnessed not only by the operators but also by the general public.
