Czech-German relationship in the period of Czech social transformation

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem této práce je sociální konstrukce vztahu dvou národů, národu Čechů a Němců. Do tohoto vztahu se promítá mnoho aspektů, daných mnohasetletou historickou koexistencí obou národů, množství národnostních, politických, kulturních i osobních témat a událostí. V této práci se ptáme, které faktory a jak ovlivňovaly formování vztahu Čechů k Němcům. Teoreticky vychází práce z konceptů kulturního traumatu, který je zde pojímán ve formě historické zkušenosti 2. Světové války a odsunu sudetských Němců z poválečného Československa jako odplaty za příkoří, které způsobilo Německo jako agresor této války. Zároveň je SRN po roce 1989 jedním z nejvýznamnějších politických, ekonomických a kulturních partnerů ČR. Z těchto dvou rovin je také na vzájemný vztah Čechů a Němců nahlíženo v této práci. Jejím cílem je sekundární analýzou dat, sebraných v rámci Výzkumu českého pohraničí, na kvalitativní úrovni popsat faktory, které vstupují do vztahu Čechů a Němců. Tato analýza je zasazena do situace roku 1996, kdy byly ve spojitosti s přípravou dokumentu tzv. Česko-německé deklarace otázky minulosti Čechů a Němců promítány do tehdejší současnosti.

Abstract:

The main theme of this paper is a social construction of a relationship between two European nations, the nations of Czechs and Germans. This relationship reflects amount of aspect, settled down trough the long coexistence of these two nations. These aspects are of political, economical, cultural, national or personal themes. I ask, which factors influenced a formation of the realtionship of Czech to Germans. Theoretically is this paper based on the concepts of cultural trauma, that is in the paper understood as an experience of the transfer of the Germans from the boarder of Czechoslovak republic afer the end of the World War II, what was a consequence of the war activities of Germany as an agrressor in this war. Together with this is Federal Republic of Germany one of the most important political, economical and cultural partner of Czech Republic after the year 1989. From these aspects is the relationship of Czechs to Germans in this paper seen. Its aim is through a secondary analyse of the dates token in the year 1996 in the Czech boarder on the qualitative niveau subscribes the factors, that enter the relationship between Czechs and Germans. This analyse is settled down in the year 1996, that was important because of the actual social interest and focus on the document of „Czech-German declaration“ that hat to solve some questions of the Czech-German past.
