Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje vzájemné korespondenci Adolfa Černého, významného českého sorabisty, s fenomenálním básníkem 19. století Josefem Václavem Sládkem. Nejdříve představuje biografii i tvorbu J. V. Sládka a poté též A. Černého. Důraz je kladen na takové životní momenty, které společně s vysvětlivkami pomáhají vyplnit prázdná místa jejich vzájemné korespondence. Práce dále předkládá 31 dopisů zpočátku ryze formální, později též osobní povahy, již zmíněné vysvětlivky a rejstřík jmen, které se v dopisech objevují. Nakonec v ediční poznámce podává informace o úpravách, které byly v korespondenci provedeny.

Abstract:

The submitted thesis is devoted to the mutual correspondence between Adolf Černý, a significant scientist of Sorbian philology, and a phenomenal 19th century poet named J. V. Sládek. First it presents Sládek's biography and writings and then those of A. Černý. The emphasis is put on those moments of life which help us, together with explanatory notes, fill blank spots in their mutual correspondence. Then the thesis presents 31 letters, first of formal but later also intimate nature, the mentioned notes and a list of names appearing in the letters. Finally, in the editorial note, it gives information about the editings which have been made in the correspondence.
