Experience-based Learning for Pre-primary Age Children in Institutional Education

Abstract:

Pro svou bakalářskou práci jsem si vybrala prožitkové učení dětí preprimárního věku v institucionální výchově. Jelikož si uvědomuji, že společenské proměny odmítly jednotnou mateřskou školu i její skupinovou výchovu a otevřely prostor pro pedagogickou autonomii škol i pro individuální svobodu pedagoga i dítěte a daly tak prostor všem uplatnit svou vlastní iniciativu ve výchově a vzdělávání dětí, které jsou vnímány jako individuální osobnosti účastnící se procesu výchovy a vzdělávání jako aktivní subjekty. Proto jsem se rozhodla ve své teoretické části, zabývat se prožitkovým učením v širším a užším slova smyslu, hlavními znaky prožitkového učení dětí v institucionální výchově, vhodnými pedagogickými postupy a podmínkami, které vedou k realizaci prožitkového učení. V průzkumné praktické části zkoumám, zda děti prožívají výrazněji pozitivní či negativní pocity při prožitkovém učení.

Abstract:

I have chosen the experience-based learning for pre-primary aged children in institutional education as the subject matter for my Bachelor Thesis. As I am realizing that social changes have rejected the unified kindergarten and its group education and that the opportunity for pedagogic autonomy of schools as well as individual freedom of the pedagogue and the child was given and that everyone was provided with the possibility to apply their own initiatives in education and instruction of children who are perceived as individual personalities, participating in educational processes and schooling and as active entities. That is why I have decided, in my theoretical part, to deal with the experience-based learning in a wider and closer context, with key characteristics of the experience-based learning for children in institutional education, using adequate pedagogic procedures and conditions, leading to implementation of the experience-based learning. The practical part of an exploratory investigate whether children experienced significant positive or negative emotions in experiential learning.
