Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na jeden z hlavních prvků německé kulturní diplomacie, kterým je využívání zprostředkujících organizací, v tomto případě Goethe-Institut. Jejím hlavním cílem je popsat činnost Goethe-Institutu v České republice a zhodnotit, jakou část kulturního dědictví v rámci své činnosti využívá nejvíce, tedy zda se jedná o literární, kinematografickou či jinou uměleckou tvorbu. V práci jsou představeny projekty z let 2015 - 2023, což je období, které zahrnuje i pandemii COVID-19. Z tohoto důvodu se práce zaměřuje i na vliv pandemie na činnost institutu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on one of the main elements of German cultural diplomacy, which is the use of intermediary organisations, in this case the Goethe-Institut. Its main aim is to describe the activities of the Goethe-Institut in the Czech Republic and to evaluate which part of the cultural heritage it uses most in its activities, i.e. whether it is literary, cinematographic or other artistic work. The thesis presents projects from 2015 to 2023, a period that includes the COVID-19 pandemic. For this reason, the work also focuses on the impact of the pandemic on the institute's activities.
