Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá identifikací nejčastějších příčin pocitu ohrožení v souvislosti s výkonem povolání lékaře. Pocit ohrožení je zde chápán jako subjektivní vnímání rizik, kterým je lékař v souvislosti s prací vystaven. Těžiště práce spočívá v analýze dat získaných nestandardizovaným rozhovorem se šesti lékaři metodami kvalitativního výzkumu. Analýza a interpretace získaných dat poskytuje informace o zdrojích pocitu ohrožení, subjektivním vnímání jejich závažnosti lékaři a objektivních dopadech na jejich práci. Tato práce přispívá k objasnění mechanismů subjektivního vnímání rizik a faktorů, podílejících se na utváření pocitu ohrožení a jeho zvládání u lékařů, zkoumá jeho podíl na zvýšené zátěži stresem u zdravotnických profesí. Může sloužit jako podklad jak pro identifikaci rizik a jejich řízení v rámci systému řízení rizik ve zdravotnických zařízeních, tak pro formulaci obecnějších postupů vedoucích k zajištění bezpečnosti a kvality péče

Abstract:

The thesis addresses the identification of most frequent causes of feeling threatened while carrying out duties of a physician. In this paper, the feeling of threat means a subjective perception of risks to which physicians are exposed in relation to their work. The core of the thesis lies in the analysis of data obtained by means of a non-formalised interviews with six physicians using qualitative research methods. Analysis and interpretation of data obtained reveals information about the feeling of being threatened, subjective perception of threat's seriousness by the individuals and objective implications on their work. The thesis aims at clarifying the mechanisms of subjective perception of risks and factors which contribute to the feeling of being threatened and the ways it is managed by the physicians. It also looks into how the burden of medical staff is increased by stress. The thesis can serve as the basis for risk identification and management within the risk management framework in healthcare institutions as well as the basis for laying down general procedures ensuring safety and quality of provided care
