Competences of Special Pedagogue and Social Worker from the Special Pedagogue´s Perspective

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá pohledem pedagogů na kompetence školního speciálního pedagoga. Byla napsána v rámci mezinárodní studie na podporu zjištění míry potřeby zavedení funkce školního sociálního pracovníka, respektive speciálního pedagoga, která by měla být legislativně ukotvená. Cílem práce bylo pomocí dotazníkového šetření zmapovat názory pedagogů na kompetence sociálních pracovníků a speciálních pedagogů, přičemž se orientuje na kompetence školního speciálního pedagoga. Práce je rozdělená do dvou částí. Teoretická část bakalářské práce se zabývá legislativním vymezením dané problematiky, definováním základních pojmů a vybranými názory odborníků na tuto problematiku. Praktická část bakalářské práce zjišťuje názory pedagogů na potřebu zavedení pozice školního speciálního pedagoga (zaměstnance školy) a následně na jeho kompetence při řešení problémů žáků běžných škol v rámci výchovně vzdělávacího procesu. V závěru práce jsou nastíněna opatření, která by mohla vést v konečné fázi k ustanovení pozice školního speciálního pedagoga.

Abstract:

The bachelor´s thesis deals with pedagogues´ view on the competences of a school special education teacher. The thesis has been compiled within the frame of an international study supporting the determination of the needs rate to establish a position of a school social worker, or a special education teacher, whose functions should be legislatively anchored. The aim of the thesis is to find out and determine the teachers´ views on the competencies of a social worker and a special education teacher through a survey oriented on the competences of school special education teachers. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part of the bachelor´s thesis deals with a legislative definition of the problem, defining the basic concepts and presenting selected opinions of experts in this field. The practical part of the bachelor´s thesis presents the views of pedagogues on the introduction of a school special education teacher position (as a school employee), and subsequently his/her duties and competences while solving the problems of regular schools within educational programme. At he end of the thesis you will find an outline of mesures leading in their final phase to estabilishing a school special education teacher position.
