Educational consultant from the point of view of elementary school ninth graders

Abstract:

Bakalářská diplomová práce s názvem „Výchovný poradce z perspektivy žáků devátých tříd základních škol“ je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část práce se nejdříve věnuje vymezení základních pojmů, které s výchovným poradcem a žáky v posledním ročníku základní školy souvisí. Dále se práce zabývá výchovným poradcem, jeho potřebnou kvalifikací a náplní práce. Také je zde popsáno školní poradenské pracoviště, jehož je výchovný poradce součástí a jeho spolupráce s dalšími institucemi. Poslední kapitola teoretické části se zaměřuje na žáka v posledním ročníku základní školy. Žák je zařazen do určitého vývojového období a jsou zde popsány biologické a sociální změny, které ho provází. Empirická část práce představuje kvantitativní výzkum a jednotlivé kroky, které vedly pomocí dotazníků ke sběru dat. Cílem výzkumu je zjistit, jak žáci devátých tříd základních škol vnímají výchovného poradce na jejich škole.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis „Educational consultant from the point of view of elementary school ninth graders” is divided into two parts: theoretical and empiric. The theoretical one focuses on defining the essential terms regarding relationship between the educational consultant and the ninth graders. It also deals with the consultants themselves, their required qualification and their job description. The counseling center and its cooperation with other institutions is also dealt with in this part. The last chapter focuses on the pupils in their last year of elementary school. The pupils are set into particular development stage with the description of corresponding biological and social changes in their life. The empirical part introduces a quantitative research where a set of questionnaires was used to collect the desired data. The aim of the research was to determine the perceptions of the educational consultant by the ninth graders.
