Establishment of container deposit system for PET bottles and cans in the Czech Republic with focus on an entrepreneur

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zavedením zálohovaných PET lahví a plechovek v České Republice se zaměřením na podnikatele. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část je zaměřena na shrnutí teoretických poznatků v oblasti trhu s odpady, depozitními systémy ve světě a situace na českém trhu. Praktická část je zaměřena na konkretizaci systému při případném zavedení zálohovaných PET lahví a plechovek v České Republice se zaměřením na prodejny. Cílem práce bylo identifikovat možná rizika a příležitosti při zavedení systému z pohledu osob pracujících v oboru. V práci byly použity metody zjišťování procesů pomocí dotazníkového šetření, hloubkové rozhovory s manažery prodejen s potravinami na Praze 2. Přínosem práce byly návrhy specifikací depozitního systému s ohledem na podnikatele v retailu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the implementing of deposits on PET bottles and cans in the Czech Republic with a focus on an entrepreneur. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is focused on summarizing the theoretical knowledge in the waste market, deposit systems in the world and the situation on the Czech market. The practical part is focused on concretizing the system with the possible introduction of deposit PET bottles and cans in the Czech Republic with a focus on retail. The aim of the thesis was to identify possible risks and opportunities in the implementation of the system from the point of view of stakeholders working in the field. This part is based on the use of following methods: in-depth interviews with managers of grocery stores in Prague 2, a survey and analysis of obtained information. The contributions of the thesis are suggestions of specifications for the deposit system considering the entrepreneurs in retail.
