Diagnosis of the foot vault condition and prevention of flatfoot in pre-school childern

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na diagnostiku a prevenci plochonoží u dětí předškolního věku. Je členěna na část teoretickou a část výzkumnou. V teoretické části popisuji předškolní věk a projevy dětí v tomto období za pomoci odborné literatury. Dále charakterizuji anatomii dolní končetiny a nožní klenbu. V další kapitolách přibližuji deformity nohou a faktory ovlivňující potíže s plochýma nohama. Zabývám se také diagnostikou a prevencí plochonoží. Ve výzkumné části hodnotím odebrané otisky nohou z plantogramu, které jsem získala na základě měření u dětí z mateřské školy. Zjišťuji, jaká je úroveň plochonoží u dívek a chlapců, jaký vliv má pravidelné cvičení těchto dětí na nožní klenbu a vytvářím zásobník cviků jako prevenci plochých nohou u dětí předškolního věku.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on diagnostics and prevention of flat feet in preschool children. It is divided into a theoretical part and a research part. In the theoretical part I describe some specifics of pre-school age and the manifestation of child behavior in this period with the help of scholarly literature. Further I characterize anatomy of lower limb and foot arch. In the next chapters I describe deformities of legs and some factors influencing the problems with flat feet. I also deal with diagnostics and prevention of flat feet. In the research part I evaluate the taken footprints from the plantogram, which I obta-ined thanks to measurements in kindergarten children. I find out the level of flat feet in girls and boys and, also what effects can regular exercise have on the foot arch of these children. At the end I create a stack of exercises suitable for preventing flat feet in pre-school children.
