Vegetation around the western part of the Brno Reservoir

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá lesní a travinnou vegetací a flórou v území o velikosti 3,18 ha. kolem západní části Brněnské přehrady. Diverzita vegetace byla dokumentována pomocí 26 fytocenologických snímků zapsaných v květnu až listopadu roku 2017. Každý snímek byl zařazen do asociace fytocenologického klasifikačního systému. S využitím zpracovaných snímků a terénního průzkumu území byla vytvořena mapa rozšíření daných asociacích v území. Celkem bylo vymezeno 11 asociací, z toho 9 lesních. Z výsledků vyplývá, že v lesní vegetaci okolí západní části Brněnské přehrady převládají hercynské dubohabřiny (Galio sylvatici-Carpinetum betuli). Hojně jsou zastoupeny také teplomilné doubravy (Sorbo torminalis-Quercetum petraeae). Louky reprezentují asociace Pastinaco sativae-Arrhenatheretum elatioris a Ranunculo bulbosi-Arrhenatheretum elatioris. Suché trávníky byly zařazeny do třídy Festuco-Brometea. Dále byl pro účely čtvercového mapování flóry města Brna proveden floristický průzkum čtyř čtverců zasahujících do studovaného území. Pro každý čtverec byl vytvořen seznam nalezených taxonů. Celkem bylo zjištěno 478 taxonů, z toho 46 ohrožených. Byly shrnuty poznatky o rozšíření ohrožených druhů ve studovaném území a srovnány s dosavadními údaji. Součástí práce je dokladový herbář vybraných druhů.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with forest and grassland vegetation and flora in an area of 318 ha. around the western part of the Brno reservoir. Vegetation diversity was documented using 26 phytosociological relevés recorded from May to November of 2017. Each relevé was classified into an association of the phytosociological classification system. Based on the relevés and field survey a vegetation map of the area was created. A total of 11 associations, including 9 forest associations, were distinguished. The results show that the most common forest association around the western part of the Brno reservoir is the Hercynian oak-hornbeam forest (Galio sylvatici-Carpinetum betuli). Thermophilous oaks forests (Sorbo torminalis-Quercetum petraeae) are also abundant. Meadows are represented by the associations Pastinaco sativae-Arrhenatheretum elatioris and Ranunculo bulbosi-Arrhenatheretum elatioris. Grasslands were classified to the class Festuco-Brometea. Floristic survey for the purpose of flora mapping of the city of Brno was carried out in four grid cells in the study area. For each square a list of taxa found was created. A total of 478 taxa were found included 46 threatened taxa. Knowledge of distribution of endangered species in the study area was summarized and compared with previously existing data. The thesis is supplemented by a herbarium.
