Supervision from the Point of View of Pedagogical Workers in Facilities Providing Institutional Protective Upbringing

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na supervizi v zařízeních pro výkon ústavní a ochranné výchovy z pohledu pedagogických pracovníků. Práce sestává z teoretické a empirické části. V první z nich se nejprve zaměřuji na vymezení pojmu supervize obecně, přibližuji její funkce, formy a techniky, které může využívat. Je zde popsán i samotný průběh procesu. Dále se věnuji účastníkům supervize a jejich vzájemné interakci. Závěr teoretické části je pak zaměřen na zařízení pro výkon ústavní a ochranné výchovy a na zavedení povinné supervize do těchto zařízení. V empirické části je popsána metodologie výzkumného šetření. Je zde přiblížen postup kvalitativního výzkumu, díky němuž byla získána data pro následnou analýzu. Hlavní výzkumná otázka zní: Jak vnímají pedagogičtí pracovníci v zařízeních pro výkon ústavní a ochranné výchovy supervizi? Podtématy, kterými se také zabývám v rámci druhé poloviny empirické části, jsou pak představa supervize na počátku a její vnímání pedagogickými pracovníky v současnosti, průběh supervize v zařízení a vnímání supervizního sezení a osobnosti supervizora.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on supervising in facilities providing institutional protective upbringing from the point of view of pedagogical workers. The thesis consists of the theoretical and empirical parts. In the first part, I focus on defining the term supervision in general; I explain its function, forms and techniques which can be used. The developmental stages of the process are described in this part of the thesis. Furthermore, I deal with the participants in the process of supervising and their mutual interaction. The conclusion of the theoretical part is focused on facilities providing institutional protective upbringing and launching obligatory supervision in these institutions. The methodology of research is described in the empirical part. This part of the thesis attempts to explain the process of qualitative research, which was used a means of data collection needed for the analysis. The main research question is: How do pedagogical workers in facilities providing institutional protective upbringing perceive supervision? The subthemes that I also deal with in the second half of the empirical part are the initial vision of supervising and its current perception by pedagogical workers, the process of supervising in the facility and the perception of supervisory meetings as well as the supervisor’s personality.
