Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Inovační regiony v Evropě“ je analýza vybraných inovačních regionů v Evropě a určení hlavních faktorů úspěchu. Inovace jsou pokládány za konkurenční výhodu a přispívají k rozvoji regionů. První část práce je zaměřena na teoretické ukotvení pojmu inovace a následné zasazení do konceptu regionálních inovačních systémů. Posléze je pozornost věnována na určení hlavních determinantů úspěšnosti spolu s výběrem regionů, které jsou podrobeny, v rámci případových studií, hlubší analýze. Poslední část práce se pokouší porovnat jednotlivé faktory úspěchu v daných regionech.

Abstract:

The subject of the thesis "Innovative Regions in Europe" is an analysis of selected innovative regions in Europe and the main factors of their success. Innovations are considered as competitive advantage for regional development. The first part is focused on theoretical anchoring of innovation in regional development and subsequent insertion into the concept of regional innovation systems. Afterwards, are identified main determinants of success which are accompanied by a selection of regions that are the subject of the thesis. The main part of the thesis is focused on in-depth analysis of selected regions. The last part tries to compare the success factors in analysed regions.
