Methodology of the continual measurement of the industrial used water

Abstract:

V této práci jsem se zabýval porovnáním laboratorních a on-line metod zkoumání kvality vody v papírenském průmyslu. V úvodu práce byl vypracován přehled používaných on-line analyzátorů a přehled metod používaných v laboratoři. Data použitá v této práci pocházejí ze stanovení biologické spotřeby kyslíku a barvy vody v Mondi Štětí a.s. a chemické spotřeby kyslíku v Mondi SCP Ružomberok. Data představují souhrn výsledků měření v roce 2015 a výsledky práce ukazují, že kontinuální (on-line) měření je vhodný doplněk laboratorních testů a dokáže poskytnout poměrně věrohodné informace o okamžité úrovni sledovaných parametrů. Nicméně plné nahrazení laboratorních metod metodami automatickými představuje nebezpečí zkreslení informací o skutečné kvalitě vody a z toho vyplývající důsledky.

Abstract:

In this thesis I dealt with a comparison of laboratory and online methods of examination of water quality in the paper industry. At the beginning of this thesis, an overview of used online analysers and an overview of methods used in laboratories have been made. The data used in this thesis come from the determination of the biological oxygen demand and water colour in Mondi Štětí a.s. and of the chemical oxygen demand in Mondi SCP Ružomberok. The data represent an aggregate of measurement results from 2015 and the results of this thesis show that the continuous (online) measurement is a suitable complement of laboratory tests and can give relatively credible information about the immediate level of monitored parameters. However, full replacement of laboratory methods by automatic methods poses danger of distortion of information about the real water quality and the consequences that follow from this.
