Diplomová práce se zabývá středočeským městem Velvary a jeho obyvateli v předbělohorské době. Vychází převážně ze studia nejstarších dochovaných velvarských městských knih, které jsou dnes uloženy ve Státním okresním archivu Kladno. Abstract:
This dissertation investigates Velvary, a town in central Bohemia, and its citizens in the era before the battle of Bila Hora. As a primary source mostly studies of the oldest preserved urban books of Velvary were used, which are presently located in the State district archive in Kladno.
