Diplomová práca má analyticko–aplikačný charakter. Je zameraná na komparáciu dôchodkového zabezpečenia v krajinách V4. Východiskom pre diplomovú prácu sú teoretické poznatky, týkajúce sa danej problematiky. Konkrétne zo sociálneho zabezpečenia, jeho vývoja a genézy.
