Cieľom diplomovej práce je vysvetliť pojem distribučné kanály komerčnej banky, stručne poukázať na vývoj a stav bankového sektora na Slovenku, postavenie komerčnej banky v bankovom systéme, bližšie charakterizovať vybrané distribučné kanály komerčných bánk a analyzovať porovnanie distribučných kanálov v Tatra banke a.s. a VÚB banke a.s..
