Sexting in cyberspace

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá sextingem v kyberprostoru. Skládá se z teoretické části, kde jsou definované základní pojmy týkající se sextingu. Dále se práce věnuje kybernetickým útokům, rizikům sextingu, jejich prevenci a doporučeným opatřením. V praktické části byla pomocí dotazníkového šetření zkoumána zkušenost studentů (výzkumný vzorek o velikosti 147 jedinců) středních a vysokých škol se sextingem. Výzkumné otázky se zaměřily na rozdíly v chování sextingu mezi pohlavími, jejich zkušenost se sextingem jako takovým a mimo jiné na platformy a metody provozování sextingu. Dotazníkové šetření ukázalo, že většina respondentů má zkušenosti se sextingem bez rozdílu pohlaví a nejčastěji ho provozují pomocí psaní textových zpráv přes Instagram a Facebook Messenger. Primárními motivy pro provozování sextingu bylo vzrušení a uvolnění, vyjádření emocí, intimity a zlepšení vztahů. Jen malá část respondentů byla dobře seznámená s možnými právními důsledky provozování sextingu, a většina z nich se necítila být osobně odpovědná za obsah, který sdílí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with sexting in cyberspace. It consists of a theoretical part where the basic concepts related to sexting are defined. The thesis also deals with cyber-attacks, the risks of sexting, their prevention, and recommended measures. In the practical part, the experience with sexting of students (research sample size of 147 individuals) of high schools and universities using a questionnaire. Research questions focused on differences in sexting behavior between genders, their experience with sexting as such, as well as the platforms and methods by which they engage in sexting. The research showed that the majority of respondents have experience with sexting regardless of gender and most often engage in sexting via texting via Instagram and Facebook Messenger. The primary motives for engaging in sexting were arousal and relaxation, expressing emotions and intimacy, and improving relationships. Only a small proportion of respondents were aware of the potential legal consequences of engaging in sexting, and most did not feel personally responsible for the content they shared.
