Nursing care specifications of patients with acute pancreatitis

Abstract:

ABSTRAKT Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na specifika ošetřovatelské péče o pacienty s akutní pankreatitidou, která je v dnešní době velice aktuálním a také často řešeným tématem. Teoretická část stručně zmiňuje anatomii a fyziologii pankreatu, mapuje incidenci výskytu tohoto onemocnění, popisuje onemocnění jako takové, zmiňuje jeho možné komplikace, včetně léčby a zaměřuje se i na prevenci. Zabývá se správnou ošetřovatelskou péčí a jejími specifiky, přičemž vyzdvihuje důležitou roli výživy, a to jak v preventivním, tak i léčebném kontextu. Praktická část je zaměřena na informovanost pacientů ve zdravotnickém zařízení v souvislosti s diagnózou akutní pankreatitida. Jsou zde formulovány cíle a úkoly práce, proveden sběr dat, na jehož základě jsou analyzovány výsledky šetření. Hlavním cílem práce je přispět k řešení problematiky ošetřovatelské péče o pacienty s akutní pankreatitidou a zjistit, jaká je v praxi nemocničního zařízení míra informovanosti pacientů, kde především zjišťuji znalosti o dodržování doporučených režimových opatření. Dalším cílem je zaměření zda pacienti dodržují a zároveň považují dodržování režimová opatření za klíčové a zda se pacienti cítí o této problematice dostatečně informováni. Výsledky praktické části jsou následně přehledně shrnuty a vzájemně porovnány. Práce závěrem shrnuje tématiku ošetřovatelské péče o pacienty s akutní pankreatitidou s možným praktickým využitím ve zdravotnické praxi.

Abstract:

ABSTRACT This bachelor's thesis focuses on the specifics of nursing care for patients suffering from acute pancreatitis, which is in this day and age very relevant and frequently addressed topic. The theoretical part concisely describes the anatomy and physiology of the pancreas, maps the incidence of this disease, defines it by definition, discusses its possible complications, including treatment, and emphasizes prevention. It addresses proper nursing care and its specifics while emphasizing the important role of nutrition, in the preventive context, as well as in the therapeutic context. The practical part examines patients' awareness of acute pancreatitis diagnosis in a medical facility. The goals and objectives of the work are defined, data collection is carried out, and the survey results are analyzed. A primary objective of this thesis is to contribute to resolving problems of nursing care for patients with acute pancreatitis and to determine the extent of patients' awareness in practice in a health facility where I primarily assess their knowledge of adherence to recommended regimen measures. The next goal is to address whether patients both adhere to and consider adherence to regimen measures to be crucial and whether patients feel informed well enough about this issue. The practical part of the thesis is summarized and respectively compared. The thesis concludes with a brief summary of the topic of nursing care for patients with acute pancreatitis and possible practical implications for medical practice.
