Burn Trauma in Prehospital Emergency Care

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou popáleninového traumatu v přednemocniční neodkladné péči. V teoretické části je stručně sepsána historie, anatomie kůže, včetně působení tepla na živou tkáň. Dále se zabývá klasifikací popáleninového traumatu, která významně ovlivňuje jeho prognózu. Teoretická část se také věnuje poskytování laické první pomoci a prevenci vzniku popálenin. Nedílnou součástí je kapitola o poskytování přednemocniční neodkladné péče zdravotnickou záchrannou službou, která zahrnuje klasifikaci popáleninového traumatu, zajištění žilního řečiště, tekutinovou terapii, zajištění dýchacích cest, analgosedaci, místní ošetření a chlazení popálených ploch a transport postiženého do nejvhodnějšího zdravotnického zařízení. Zabývá se také komplikacemi, které mohou při popáleninovém traumatu nastat, jako je např. vznik inhalačního traumatu, popáleninového šoku, či vznik edému. Praktická výzkumná část je zaměřena na informovanost laické veřejnosti v prevenci vzniku popálenin a ve znalostech poskytování první pomoci při vzniku popáleninového úrazu. Tato část obsahuje vyhodnocení výsledků dotazníkového šetření laické veřejnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of burn trauma in prehospital emergency care. The theoretical part is a brief written history, the anatomy of the skin, including the effect of heat on living tissue. It also deals with the classification of burn trauma, which significantly affects its prognosis. Furthemore is theoretical part dedicated to providing professional first aid and prevention of burns. An integral part of the theoretical part is the chapter about the provision of pre-hospital emergency care ambulance service, which includes classification of burn trauma, providing venous system, fluid therapy, airway management, sedation, local treatment and cooling of burned areas and transport victim to the most appropriate medical facility. It also discusses the complications that may occur during burn trauma, such as inhalation trauma, burn shock or creation of edema. The practical part of the research is aimed at informing the general public in the prevention of burns and knowledge of first aid in the formation of burn injury. This section contains an evaluation of the results of the survey the general public.
