Occurrence of the socio-pathological phenomena in the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Práce si klade za cíl zjistit výskyt sociálně patologických jevů u Hasičského záchranného sboru České republiky se zaměřením na Ústecký kraj. Teoretická část práce bude zaměřena na vysvětlení pojmu sociálně patologických jevů a jejich rozdělení. Dále bude v teoretické části pojednáno o faktorech důležitých pro možnost výkonu povolání hasiče u HZS ČR, neboť výkon profese hasiče je druhem povolání, jež je určeno pouze pro specifický okruh lidí. Stěžejní kapitolou teoretické části bude kapitola nesoucí název Sociálně patologické jevy vyskytující se u HZS ČR, kam spadají jevy, jako jsou např. alkoholismus, delikvence, užívání návykových látek apod. Na teoretickou část práce naváže část empirická, která bude zaměřena na zjištění aktuální situace výskytu sociálně patologických jevů mezi příslušníky HZS ČR. Autor si v rámci praktické části klade za cíl zjistit míru výskytu vybraných sociálně patologických jevů u příslušníků HZS ČR Ústeckého kraje, informovanost o škodlivosti výskytu jevů a možnosti jejich předcházení.

Abstract:

The study aims to determine the occurrence of socially pathological phenomena in the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic(FRS CR). The theoretical part of the study focuses on explaining the concept of socially pathological phenomena and their distribution. Furthermore, the theoretical part discusses the factors important for the possibility of performing the profession of a firefighter in the FRS CR, mainly because a firefighter is a type of profession that is intended only for a specific group of people. The main chapter of the theoretical part is entitled to Socio-pathological phenomena occurring in the FRS CR, phenomena such as alcoholism, delinquency, substance abuse, etc. The theoretical section of the study is followed by a practical part that shines the light on the current state and occurrence of pathological phenomena among the members of the FRS CR. In the practical part, the author aims to determine the degree of occurrence of socially pathological phenomena within the members of the FRS CR, alongside to the effects that those phenomena can have if members are not properly informed and educated. Lastly, this study provides ways and strategies on how to prevent socially pathological phenomena.
