Relationship of the angle of the elbow joint on the speed of the dominant arm during an attack in volleyball

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce bylo zjistit a analyzovat závislost úhlu loketního kloubu na rychlosti dominantní paže při simulovaném útočném úderu ve volejbale. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na charakteristiku volejbalu, jako sportovního odvětví, schopnosti ovlivňující výkony hráče, a především je zaměřena na útočný úder, jeho technické a taktické aspekty pro zvládnutí úspěšnosti. V práci je popsáno pojetí biomechaniky a kinematické charakteristiky. Byl měřen útočný úder, který se prováděl v kinematické laboratoři za pomocí kinematické analýzy. Výsledky kinematické analýzy ukázaly, že výslednou hodnotou je p = 0.762 (r = -0.040), a proto v práci nebyla zjištěna statisticky významná korelace ve vztahu u loketního kloubu a rychlosti paže v okamžiku odbití při útočném úderu.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to find out and analyze the dependence of the angle of the elbow joint on the speed of the dominant arm during an simulated attack in volleyball. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of volleyball, as a sport, abilities influencing the performance of a player, and above all it is focused on the attack and its technical and tactical aspects to manage success. The concept of biomechanics and kinematic characteristics is also described. An attack strike was measured, which was carried out in a kinematic laboratory using kinematic analysis. The results of the kinematic analysis showed that the resulting value was p = 0.762, (r = -0.040) and therefore, the thesis found no statistically significant correlation in the relationship between elbow joint and arm speed at the moment of rebound during the volleyball attack.
