Influence of personality and style of management of the manager for the successful operation of the school

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci „Vliv osobnosti a stylu řízení vedoucího pracovníka na úspěšný chod školy“ se zaměřuji na pojmy jako je management a leadership, věnuji se manažerským funkcím, škole jako vzdělávací instituci, dále klimatu a kultuře školy, komunikaci obecně, ale i pedagogické komunikaci. Důležitou kapitolou je osobnost vedoucího pracovníka školy, tedy ředitele, legislativa spojená s touto funkcí, vlastnosti ředitele, komunikace s podřízenými, chování a vliv této osoby na chod školy. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou, kde se věnuji výše zmíněným pojmům, a část empirickou, která obsahuje rozhovory s řediteli čtyř brněnských škol, a také dotazníky od osmdesáti respondentů – učitelů - taktéž z těchto čtyř škol. Tyto dva výzkumy jsou následně vzájemně porovnány.

Abstract:

In my dissertation Influence of personality and style of management of the manager for the successful operation of the school 'I focus on terms such as management and leadership, I deal with roles of managers, the school as an educational institution, as well as climate and school culture, communication in general , but also educational communication. An important chapter is the personality of a manager of the school, the director, the legislation associated with this feature, director´s qualities, communication with subordinates, behavior and influence this person to run the school. The dissertation is divided into theoretical part, which is devoted to the terms mantioned above and a practical part, which involves interviews with the directors of four schools in Brno, and questionnaires from eighty respondents - teachers – that are also from these four schools. These two studies are then compared with each other.
