Abstract:

Ačkoliv se definice pojmu kultura liší, její společné sdílení je všeobecně považováno za jednu ze základních charakteristik národa, či suverénního státu. V době vzniku Československa jako suverénního státu kulturní politika na státní bázi prakticky neexistovala, nicméně politické změny zapříčinily přechod z liberálního konceptu v koncept konzervativní a později totalitní, jehož konec znamenala až Sametová revoluce. Koncepční práce s kulturou na bázi cíle vytyčujících dokumentů však začne až mnohem později. Práce si klade za cíl popsat státní zásahy a regulace v oblasti kultury ve vymezeném období.

Abstract:

Although the definition of culture differs, it is commonly considered as one of fundamental characteristics of nation or state. At the time of formation of Czechoslovak republic as a sovereign state, the culture policy, or major regulations in culture were non–existent. The political development had caused a transition from liberal concept of culture policy to more regulated condition, which shortly after shifted into totalitarian form, which persisted until the Velvet revolution. Conceptual documents for identification of the main goals of cultural development had been created much later. Main objective of this thesis is to describe the intervention and regulations done by state in defined period.
