The role of radiology assistant during the CT examination of pacients with stroke

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá významem výpočetní tomografie u diagnostiky cévní mozkové příhody. Teoretická část práce obsahuje informace o oboru radiologický asistent, o výpočetní tomografii, přesněji o historii vzniku tohoto přístroje a princip jeho funkce. Dále jsou nezbytnou součástí poznatky o anatomii mozku a onemocnění CMP. Přesněji jsou zde informace o rizikových faktorech, diagnostice a možnostech léčby. V praktické části je podrobně popsán postup radiologického asistenta při CT vyšetření u pacientů s CMP, který vznikal v rámci sledování práce RA v komplexním cerebrovaskulárním centru. Dále jsou zde obsaženy také postupy práce lékaře radiologa, včetně intervenčního radiologa, které vznikaly stejným způsobem. Závěr praktické části je věnován popisu některých CT skenů a obrazové dokumentace z průběhu léčby CMP pomocí mechanické trombektomie, které byly pořízeny na stejném pracovišti.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the importance of computed tomography in diagnostic of stroke. The theoretical part contains information about a radiology assistant, about CT, exactly about history and principle of CT. Important part of theoretical part presents information about brain anatomy and information about stroke, like a risk factors, diagnostic or a cure of stroke. In the practical part is a detailed description of radiology assistant's work during CT of patient with stroke, which was realized by watching a radiology assistant in the complex cerebrovascular center. Descriptions of work of radiologist and interventional radiologist are in practical part too, which were made by the same way. Final of the practical part is about description of some CT scans and pictures, which were made during the interventional cure of stroke by mechanical thrombectomy, which was done in the same center.
