The Autonomy of Children in the Age-heterogeneous Class

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je samostatnost dětí ve věkově heterogenní třídě. Je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části se věnuji pojmu samostatnost dětí, vývojem samostatnosti a způsoby osvojování samostatnosti ve zvolených činnostech. Dále se zabývám věkově heterogenní třídou, jejími pozitivy a negativy vzhledem k tématu bakalářské práce. Třetí kapitola je věnována věkově homogennímu uspořádání třídy a zde rovněž zachycuji klady a zápory tohoto uspořádání ve vztahu k tématu. Poslední kapitola je zasvěcena alternativní a inovativní mateřské škole a mateřské škole podporující zdraví, kde jsem realizovala průzkum pro praktickou část své bakalářské práce. Praktická část je rozdělená na dvě části. V první části se zabývám metodou pozorování mapováním struktury činností dětí a jejich samostatnosti v nich na počátku a na konci školního roku. Ve druhé části jsem zjišťovala metodou rozhovoru, které ze zvolených činností jsou z pohledu dětí pro jejich samostatné vykonání nejsnazší, a které nejobtížnější. Díky vhodně zvoleným metodám průzkumu jsem došla ke kýženému cíli.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the autonomy of children in the age heterogeneous class. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the autonomy term, development of autonomy as well as adopting of the autonomy in selected activities is being discussed. Furthermore, I also focus on the age heterogenenous class, its positives and negatives considering the topic of this thesis. In the third chapter, the attention is primarily paid to the age homogeneous class arrangement. I also describe the positives and negatives of the arrangement in relation to this topic. The last chapter is devoted to alternative and innovative kindergarten and kindergarten supporting health, where I have conducted a survey for the practical part of my thesis. The practical part is divided into two parts. The first part is devoted to the method of observation mapping the structure of children's activities and their independence in them at the beginning and at the end of the school year. In the second part, I have investigated, by means of the interview, which of the chosen activities are the easiest for children and which are the most difficult to perform independently. Thanks to the suitably chosen methods of survey, I have reached the desired outcome.
