School and families in the same "land" of interest (translation and stylistic, syntactic, lexical analysis)

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis consists of the translation and the analyses of the French article concerning gipsy education in France „École et familles sur un même “terrain” d’entente“ which was printed in magazine Études tsiganes in 2005. The aim of this translation was to create a readable Czech text which follows the rules of Czech syntax with respect to the preservation of the meaning and style of the original French text. In the analytical part of this bachelor thesis, which includes the stylistic analysis, the syntactic analysis and the lexical analysis, was attention paid to the style of the original text, to the differences between the French and the Czech syntax and to their appropriate translation into Czech language. The final part is focused on the specialised French vocabulary used in the studied article in order to find the appropriate Czech equivalents.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská diplomová práce je překladem a následnými analýzami francouzsky psaného článku o vzdělávání kočovných Romů ve Francii „Écoles et familles sur un même “terrain” d’entente“ který byl publikován v časopisu Études tsiganes v roce 2005. Při překládání bylo cílem vytvořit čtivý český text, který respektuje zákony české syntaxe a který součsně zachovává smysl a ráz původního francouzského textu. V analytické části, která má tři části (analýzu stylistickou, syntaktickou a lexikální), je pojednáno o stylu překládaného textu, dále pak o rozdílech mezi francouzskou a českou syntaxí a jejich vhodným překladem a konečně byla pozornost věnována specializované slovní zásobě, ve smyslu hledání vhodných českých ekvivalentů k francouzským výrazům původního překládaného textu.
