Strategic analysis of Devro s.r.o.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá strategickou analýzou podniku Devro s.r.o. Jejím cílem je identifikovat důvod snižujících zisků podniku pomocí vnějších a vnitřních faktorů ovlivňující pozici na trhu. Přínosem práce je stanovení doporučené strategie podniku pomocí SWOT analýzy. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část popisuje nástroje externí a interní analýzy potřebné k sestavení strategické analýzy. Praktická část identifikuje příležitosti a hrozby v makrookolí firmy a pomocí analýzy mikrookolí vyhodnocuje silné a slabé stránky podniku. K analýze makrookolí je použita PESTLE analýza. V rámci analýzy mikrookolí je využit Porterův model 5 sil, mapa konkurenčních skupin, analýza zájmových skupin. K analýze vnitřních zdrojů je použita VRIO analýza a finanční analýza. Následně je provedena SWOT analýza s doporučením. Závěr práce obsahuje shrnutí práce a výsledky analýzy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with strategic analysis of Devro s.r.o. The main aim of this thesis is to find out reason why Devros profits are decreasing over time with use of external and internal factors that affect market position of the company. The contribution of the thesis is to determine recommended strategy using SWOT analysis. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The teoretical part describes the tools of external and internal analysis required to establish strategic analysis. The practical part identifies oppoturnities and threats of the external area of the company and identifies strengths and weaknesses within the company. For external analysis is used PESTLE and for internal analysis are company industry analysis, Porter's 5 forces model, competitive groups map used. Internal sources are analysed with VRIO analysis and financial analysis. In the end is SWOT analysis with recommandations done. The conclusion contains summary and the result of strategic analysis.
