Analysis of Czech-Spanish Terminology in the Field of Beekeeping

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou česko-španělské terminologie v oblasti včelařství. V teoretické části jsou objasněny termíny týkající se překladu, lexikografie a včelařství. V praktické části je analyzována vybraná česko-španělská včelařská terminologie, a to jak z hlediska translatologického procesu, tak četnosti výskytu ve Španělsku a Latinské Americe. V případě nulových ekvivalentů daných termínů ve španělském jazyce byly vhodné protějšky navrženy.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with analysing of Czech-Spanish terminology in the field of beekeeping from the perspective of translatology. In the theoretical part the terms related to translation, lexicography and beekeeping are explained. Later, in the practical part, selected Czech-Spanish vocabulary is analysed, both in terms of translation process and the frequency of occurence in Spain and Latin America. In the absence of equivalents of the terms in Spanish, appropriate equivalents have been proposed.
