Alkohol and tobacco consumption among the children at age 12 to16 years

Abstract:

Tématem této práce je zjištění míry a úrovně konzumace alkoholu a tabáku mezi dětmi a mladistvými ve věku 12 až 16 let. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. V první kapitole je popsána a definována etopedická terminologie a její změny v současnosti. Druhá kapitola se zabývá problematikou návykového a závislostního chování u dětí a mladistvých, podrobněji potom nejčastějšími drogovými závislostmi u dětí a mládeže jako je zneužívání alkoholu a nikotinu. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena na možnosti prevence, její zásady a odlišnosti v jednotlivých věkových skupinách. Jsou zde rovněž uvedeny rizikové i protektivní faktory vzniku závislostního chování. Čtvrtou kapitolu tvoří empirický výzkum. Ve vlastním výzkumném šetření jsou analyzovány odpovědi na jednotlivé otázky, které byly uvedeny v dotazníku. V závěru je shrnuta celá práce a uvedeno možné uplatnění výsledků výzkumu v praxi.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is to determine the extent and level of alcohol consumption and tobacco use among children and adolescents aged 12 to 16 years. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part gives definitions and characteristics of the etopedical terminology and its changes in the present. The second part deals with addictive and dependency behavior in children and adolescents. In the second part of the chapter there are details on the drug addiction instances most common among children and youths, such as the abuse of alcohol and nicotine. The third part is focused on the possibilities of prevention, its principles and differences in individual age groups. There are also included risk and protective factors of addictive behaviors. The fourth chapter contains the empirical research. In my own research study there are analyzed responses to individual questions which were included in a questionnaire. The entire work is summarized in the conclusion and possible applications of research results in practice are also presented here.
