Diplomová práca sa zoberá definovaním platobného styku a platobného systému, ako aj charakterizovaním vývoja platobných systémov v prostredí EÚ. Práca je rozdelená do troch kapitol, kde nosnou je tretia kapitola, v ktorej je vysvetlený platobný systém SEPA. Prvá kapitola charakterizuje členenie platobného styku.
