The law determination of the position of a woman in Islam in contrast with the position of a woman in Europe.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce ?Zákonné vymezení a postavení ženy v Islámu proti postavení ženy v Evropě? pojednává o problematice ženské otázky v arabských zemích. Po uvedení do základní charakteristiky islámu a křesťanství je práce zaměřena na pojetí islámské normy v podobě náboženského práva ? Šarí?y a pojetí křesťanské normy. Práce se dále zaměřuje na rozdíly v přístupu k muslimským a evropským ženám. Snaží se poukázat na práva, postavení a povinnosti muslimské ženy ve společnosti, a zda má v dnešní moderní době stejné možnosti jako žena vzápadním světě. Posledním bodem práce je ukázka ženské emancipace v arabských zemích. Cílem práce je poukázat na rozdíly mezi islámskou a západní společností. Podat přehled rozdílů mezi muslimskou a evropskou ženou, jejich rozdílná práva a povinnosti ve společnosti.

Abstract:

The Bachelor´s Thesis ?The law determination of the position of a woman in Islam in contrast with the position of a woman in Europe? deals with women´s questions in the Arab countries. After introduction into the basic characteristics of the Islam and Christianity the work focuses on understanding of the Islam concept in the religious law ? Sharía and of interpretation in the Christian standard. Further are in the thesis discussed the differences in attitudes to Muslim and European women. It endeavors to show the rights, status and obligations of a Muslim woman in her society and asks whether she has the same opportunities as a woman in the Western world. The last part of the work illustrates woman's emancipation in the Arab countries. The aim of the work is to show the differences between the Islamic and Western societies, to give summary of differences between Muslim and European woman, their different rights and duties in the society.
