Cieľom tejto práce je poskytnúť čitateľovi detailnú predstavu o problematike úverového procesu a úverového rizika s tým spojeného. Úvod práce je venovaný súčasnému vývoju bankového sektoru vo Veľkej Británii a v Českej republike a samozrejme finančnej kríze, ktorá vplýva na vývoj globálnej ekonomiky.
