The Improvement Proposal of the Employee Benefits Structure in a Selected Company

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je navrhnout zlepšení struktury zaměstnaneckých benefitů ve vybrané firmě na základě analýzy atraktivity zaměstnaneckých benefitů u zaměstnanců firmy a také dle aktuálních potřeb firmy s ohledem na situaci na pracovním trhu. Při řešení tohoto problému bylo použito několik metod. Atraktivita zaměstnaneckých benefitů, respektive spokojenost zaměstnanců s poskytovanými benefity, byla zjišťována pomocí analýzy interních dokumentů a dále dotazníkovým šetřením, ve kterém byli osloveni všichni zaměstnanci vybrané firmy. Dále byly zjišťovány potřeby vybrané firmy v této oblasti. Jejich zjištění proběhlo pomocí standardizovaných rozhovorů s vedením personálního oddělení a vedením odborové organizace. Z analýz vyplynulo, že nastavená struktura benefitů plně neodpovídá potřebám firmy s ohledem na situaci na trhu práce a liší se od aktuálních představ zaměstnanců. Z tohoto důvodu byl navržen kombinovaný systém zaměstnaneckých benefitů, který propojuje stávající systém, v němž jsou některé zaměstnanecké benefity pevně stanoveny kolektivní smlouvou, s tzv. malou cafeterií, v jejímž rámci mohou zaměstnanci čerpat benefity na bázi volnočasových aktivit prostřednictvím elektronické benefitní karty.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to suggest an improvement of the employee benefits structure in a chosen company on the basis of the attractiveness of company employee benefits and also according to the current company needs with the respect to the situation on the job market. Several methods were used when solving this issue. Attractiveness of employee benefits, respectively employee satisfaction with the provided benefits, was determined per analysis of internal documents and also per questionnaire, in which all employees of the chosen company were addressed. Next the needs of the company in this field were determined. The findings ran per standardized dialogues with the heads of Personnel Department and the head of Labour Union. It resulted from the analysis that the set structure of benefits does not fully correspond to the company needs considering the situation on the job market and it differs from current employee conceptions. Because of this a combined system of employee benefits was suggested that is connected to the present system, in which some of the employee benefits are set firmly by the collective agreement, with so called small cafeteria, within this the employees can draw benefits on the basis of free time activities per an electronic benefit card.
