The aim of this bachelor thesis is to carry out the translation analysis of the novel The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. The theoretical part outlines Christiane Nord's (2005) framework aimed at the translation-oriented analysis, which is then applied to the source text analysis presesnted in the practical part of this thesis. V teoretické části je představen model Christiany Nordové (2005) určený pro překladatelskou analýzu, který je v praktické části aplikován při vlastní analýze výchozího textu.
