Management of the selected process in the company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou využití informačních systémů ve vybraném podniku. Zaměřuje se na porovnání původního a nově implementovaného informačního systému, a to z hlediska podpory podnikových procesů. Změna původního informačního systému měla podle představy vedení přinést společnosti znatelnou úlevu, z pohledu časové náročnosti, a to hlavně u rozhodovacího a schvalovacího procesu. Dopady na změnu informačního systému ve vybraném podniku jsou vyobrazeny za pomoci metody mapování hodnoty toků. Tato metoda identifikovala prostoje v procesech v závislosti na původním informačním systému. Řešením se stal nově implementovaný systém, který dosáhl časové úspory u zmíněných procesů. Celkové posouzení funkčnosti obou systémů z pohledu uživatele a podniku je součástí zhodnocení implementace a je zde vytvořen prostor pro další inovace.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the use of information systems in a selected company. It is focused on the comparison of the original and the new implemented information system in terms of business process support. According to the management's idea, the change of the original information system was to bring the company significant relief, from the point of view of time, especially in the decision-making and approval process. The effects on the change of the information system in the selected company are displayed using the method of mapping the value of flows. This method identified downtime in the processes depending on the original information system. The solution was a new implemented system, which achieved time savings in the mentioned processes. The overall assessment of the functionality of both systems from the perspective of the user and the company is part of the evaluation of the implementation and there is space for further innovation.
