Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Analýza media relations“ je analyzovat media relations v konkrétní organizaci a formulovat doporučení pro jejich další řízení. V teoretické části práce je nejprve vymezen pojem public relations a komunikační proces v oblasti public relations. V další kapitole je pojem public relations vymezen vůči ostatním nástrojům propagace. Následující část práce popisuje oblast media relations včetně základních nástrojů, typů médií, aktuálních mediálních trendů a věnuje se i nástrojům a technikám budování vztahů s novináři. Poslední kapitola práce se zabývá způsoby měření a vyhodnocování efektivity media relations. Praktická část za použití vhodných metod analyzuje a hodnotí komunikační proces organizace, v jejím závěru jsou na základě zjištěných poznatků uvedena doporučení pro další vývoj v oblasti media relations.

Abstract:

The objective of the diploma thesis “Media relations analysis” is to analyze media relations in a specific organisation and to formulate a recommendation for its future regulation. Firstly, there is a delimitated definition of public relations and communicational process according to public relations in the teoretical section. In the next chapter public relations are compared with other promotional tools. There is also a description of media relations including basic tools, media types, actual media trends and essential tools and techniques for building-up relations with journalists in the following part. The last part of the thesis describes methods of measurement and evaluation of efectivity of media relations. In the practical part of the thesis the author uses suitable methods to analyze and evaluate the communicational process of the chosen organization and makes recommendations for the next developement in this field based on the result.
