The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the performance of Czech companies in terms of financing and financial stability

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou výskytu COVID-19 a jeho vlivem na hospodaření podniků. Pro zjištění dopadů je využito finanční analýzy za období 2016-2020. První část práce je zaměřena na seznámení s pojmy finanční analýza, metody finanční analýzy a vymezení COVID-19. V druhé části práce jsou představeny vybrané podniky a provedení jejich finanční analýzy. Závěrem je řečeno, zda měla pandemie COVID-19 vliv na hospodaření podniků či nikoliv.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the occurrence of COVID-19 and its impact on the management of companies. The first part of the thesis focuses on introducing the concepts of financial analysis, methods of financial analysis and definition of COVID-19. In the second part of the thesis, selected enterprises are presented and their financial analysis is performed. Finally, it is discussed whether the COVID-19 pandemic had an impact on the performance of the enterprises or not.
