Current trends of business financial management

Abstract:

Předkládaná práce se zaměřuje na finanční řízení podniku a jeho současné vývojové tendence. První část práce je věnována teoretickému vymezení pojmu finančního řízení s definicemi jeho významných oblastí a popsáním jeho vývoje v čase. V druhé části práce je již představen zkoumaná společnost Česká lékárna HOLDING, a.s. a její specifika ve finančním řízení ve smyslu obchodního podniku. Praktická část zahrnuje identifikaci klíčových oblastí finančního řízení společnosti, které nejvíce přispívají k plnění hlavního finančního cíle, čímž je zvyšování tržní hodnoty společnosti, což je zároveň i hlavní celopodnikový cíl sledující současné tendence finančního řízení. Jednotlivé kapitoly praktické části se postupně věnují základním ukazatelům výkonnosti společnosti, řízení jejího pracovního kapitálu a její investiční činnosti, přičemž jsou průběžně identifikovány vazby finančního oddělení společnosti s ostatními vedoucími odděleními, kdy všichni sledují stejný cíl zvyšování tržní hodnoty společnosti. V závěru diplomové práce je provedeno celkové zhodnocení provedeného zkoumání a obsahuje i doporučení do budoucnosti na zlepšení finančního a obchodního řízení dle předpokládaného vývoje.

Abstract:

Presented thesis focuses on business financial management and its current trends. The first part of the thesis is devoted to defining the concept of financial management with the definitions of its significant areas and description its development over the time. In the second part the examined company Česká lékárna HOLDING, a.s. is presented with its specificities of financial management in the terms of business venture. The practical part of the thesis contains the identification of the financial management key areas in the company, which contribute to fulfilling the main company financial goal as well as the company's main goal in general the most. The goal is to increase the company's market value and it follows the current trends of financial management. Individual chapters of the practical part gradually follow the company's basic performance indicators, controlling of the working capital and its investment activities, while the connections among company's financial department and other managing department are being identified where everyone pursues the same goal of increasing the market value of the company. In conclusion of the diploma thesis the overall evaluation is made and the conclusion also holds a few recommendations for the future of how to improve the financial and business management of the company according to presumed development.
